Defeating Fatigue: Natural Strategies to Maintain High Energy

The Defeating Fatigue program was developed in response to a number or performance issues identified among workers in various industries. Their needs included: long hours, shift work, tight deadlines, the pressures of a competitive, rapidly changing marketplace, increasing rates of insomnia and stress related illness, short tempers and the energy demands of balancing work, home and personal life. We also found that people were often trying to cope with the aforementioned challenges in unhealthy ways that actually diminished their energy and problem solving ability. These included: the use of over the counter stimulants, prescription drugs for sleep and stress that often had adverse side effects, excessive eating and excessive use of alcohol and caffeine.

In this 1.5 hour program,(one hour abbreviated version) participants will learn effective self management strategies to maintain a more consistent level of high energy. The content includes:

Causes of Fatigue - Low Blood Sugar, Hormonal Imbalance, Illness, Sleep Deprivation and Lifestyle Habits.

How We Create Fatigue - Poor Diet, Use of Stimulants, Poorly Managed Stress.
